INTRODUCTION:
Job Brief
We are seeking a dynamic, intelligent, and enthusiastic individual to join our rapidly growing company as an HR Executive.
As an HR Executive, you will be responsible for carrying out essential administrative tasks within the Human Resources department. This includes managing staff, overseeing the hiring process, implementing employee engagement initiatives, and maintaining accurate HR records.
Your role will also involve updating HR policies and accurately predicting the company’s recruitment needs. Additionally, you will play a key role in implementing changes to enhance the efficiency of our human resources processes.
Furthermore, you will be entrusted with making critical HR decisions to drive progress within the division and contribute to the overall advancement of the organization.
The HR Executive will assume a leadership role in directing HR activities, making a comprehensive understanding of the company’s structure imperative.
You will play a key role in the Company’s BBBEE by strategically planning all Skills Training to maximise the scoring.
Responsibilities
Manage and update HR documentation, including the Employee Handbook, Standard Operating Procedures, Policies and Guidelines, Service Agreements, and Contracts of Employment.
Ensure that Performance Management is done according to the right standards within the group as well as reporting thereof.
Act as a mentor to the HR staff.
Oversee and execute administrative processes within the HR division.
Manage the elements of BBBEE that falls within the HR arena.
Maintain compliance with labour and employment laws.
Supervise employee recruitment, meetings, and terminations.
Handle and investigate employee complaints impartially and objectively.
Introduce and implement new HR technologies to enhance department efficiency.
Report to the company MD on HR-related matters.
Ensure the consistent application of the company’s HR policies across the group.
Ensure that Payroll is run accurately and will personally be responsible for the Executive payroll.
Ensure that Company benefits are competitive. Will be involved in submissions where Executive salaries are involved.
Requirements and Skills
Experience in being part of an EXCO level
Proficient understanding of the complete HR cycle.
Strong active listening skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
Well-developed organizational and management skills.
Effective conflict management and problem-solving abilities.
Positive and empathetic approach, with the ability to consider different perspectives.
Demonstrates an excellent work ethic and practices fairness.
Capable of addressing and resolving issues.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications.
Familiarity with HR systems and payroll.
